The University of Gdańsk announces recruitment for the first edition of the "SEA-EU Ambassadors" program, which is a unique opportunity to gain experience in an international environment. The initiative is aimed at students of the University of Gdańsk who want to actively engage in university life, cooperate with foreign partners and support promotional campaigns of the SEA-EU alliance.

The ambassadors will be responsible for representing the interests of UG students in international bodies, SEA-EU marketing activities, as well as helping to organize events.

What is SEA-EU?

SEA-EU is an international alliance of nine European coastal universities, of which the University of Gdańsk is also a member. The other partner universities come from Spain, France, Germany, Croatia, Malta, Portugal, Italy and Norway. The main goal of SEA-EU is to create a joint, international program for students, PhD students and academic staff. The initiative aims to increase international mobility, strengthen European identity, support sustainable development and create new scientific and professional opportunities for the academic community.

Who can join?

The program is open to people with current UG student status in the first and second year of first-cycle studies and uniform master's studies and the first year of second-cycle studies. The candidate must demonstrate current student status at the University of Gdańsk on the day of joining the recruitment process and the duration of the entire program. The declared level of English of the participant is at least B1.

Internship conditions

A one-year internship is offered (from April 2025 to April 2026) on a contract basis. The average monthly commitment provided for in the project is 20 hours. The remuneration will be adequate to the number of hours worked. After completing the "SEA-EU Ambassadors" program, interns will receive a certificate and references.

How to apply?

Recruitment is a two-stage process.

In the first stage, the candidate is required to fill out a SPECIAL REGISTRATION FORM. The form includes a CV and a cover letter. The letter should include the student's activities, interests and competences that are directly or indirectly related to the scope of duties of the SEA-EU ambassador. The form should be completed and sent by March 21st, 2025.

The second stage of recruitment will be qualified for the second stage of recruitment, those who submitted a complete set of required documents and obtained the most points in the first stage. The second stage will take the form of interviews conducted between March 26ts and April 3rd, 2025.

The two people who obtain the highest number of points during the second stage will be invited to the program.
